MarchiaHi. If you're looking for Gurgle It or Directory of a Dream Life 50+, you're in the right place! I'm Marchia Brogan, if you know me as an actress. Or Marchia Ogden if you know me through business, as a speaker or podcast host. Lots of changes to report, thanks in no small part to COVID-19, when all my public-facing work disappeared. The good news is that at least if gave me the opportunity to create characters and one-woman shows that are perfect for entertaining guests at small events, dinners and celebrations. My Facebook profile was hacked in May 2021 and I've been unable to gain back control, so I no longer have a business profile on there. Entertainment, Role Play and Team BuildingMurder Mystery: We all need a good laugh! Join Detective Inspector Pearl E Gates as she unravels a heinous crime - with your help of course!! This one-woman show is fun and ready to roll out to parties of between 10 and 30 guests. Alternatively, I can create a bespoke show for your business or family event. Gladys Allover - Happiness Monitor Think WI meets Joyce Grenfell meets panto dame. This roaming character works well with all audiences at family events, as they aren’t sure at first whether she’s a ‘real’ person or not. Loves the sound of her own voice and is instantly recognisable by her flamboyant dress sense. She’s loud, and at first seems rather forthright and intense. But audiences soon realise that she’s a crazy, over-jolly lady of a certain age. Gladys takes her responsibility as Monitor of Health & Happiness very seriously, she encourages impromptu sing-songs etc & with her clipboard in hand, invites families to share answers to tongue-in-cheek surveys. After Dinner Speaker In addition to regular speaking topics as ME! I am in the process of creating 'characters' who would be happy to come & entertain your guests with tales on a variety of topics. Most organisations and private companies recognise the need for on-going development for management and staff. Don't let social distancing stop you in your tracks! Along with my fellow actors, I can devise and deliver this valuable learning facility via Zoom. You'll no doubt be aware that using actors rather than your colleagues intensifies both the situation and the learning outcome. My Best Life Journal
Our generation was never really encouraged to write down our life-goals and dreams, let alone create a plan to achieve those goals! However, through personal experience, of keeping a journal I KNOW that no matter how old you are, it is possible to change habits and situations that are starving you of happiness. But I got frustrated with journals that tell you to be honest and clear, and then once you get in flow, you realise that they've given you a space the size of a postage stamp to spill your heart out over And I published MY BEST LIFE JOURNAL with us in mind. The over 50s. Remember those lovely big jotters we used to get at school? Well this Journal is like a luxury 'jotter'! It has over 130 pages, and those pages are big enough for you to be as honest and clear as necessary. |
